I have hacked the recipe to Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian sauce. It is the culmination of a quest to have the sauce but not have to give money to Chick-fil-A.
It’s been years since I ate at Chick-fil-A, so I can’t vouch for this recipe’s exactitude, but it seems to hit, at least in spirit. Here is the recipe. For a more viscous Polynesian sauce, add corn starch. And don’t tell Chick-fil-A’s lawyers.
- 1 part pineapple juice
- 1/2 part honey
- 1/4 part ketchup
- 1/8 part soy sauce
- garlic powder
- ginger powder
When the ingredients are all in a bowl, whisk with vigor until the sauce is smooth.
